2 Days Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park
Safari in Selous is probably the only classic Safari to Southern Circuit of Tanzania and we offer you the best of it. Starting and ending at Dar es Salaam this safari takes you to the Greater Selous Ecosystem and give you the rare chance to experience real African Wilderness in the few untouched areas of Tanzania.
Start 5.00 am from hotel, Dar Es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve. After reaching Selous GR at 10:30am, you will start directly with Boat safari for 2:30 hours at river rufiji. It’s an ideal trip if you would like to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Rufiji River with many hippos, crocodiles, and beautiful birdlife.
The Rufiji is a large wide river with several lakes branching off it for you to explore, gaining a unique view of the river’s largest inhabitants: crocodiles and hippos. Make all formalities and you will start a game drive at 2:00pm, During afternoon after boat safari at 1:00pm you will have a short break for lunch at African safari camp. Continue with game drive up to evening at 6:30pm then back to African safari camp for accommodation.

Start early in the morning with sunrise game at 6:30am for game drive in selous, you will have half day game up to 1:00pm then you will have a hot lunch in the hotel then you will pack and leave selous, start a safari to dar es salaam. The safari guide points out rare species of animals like the Wild Dogs, Sable antelopes, black rhinoceros, Nile Crocodile, hippopotamus along the banks of the Rufiji river, Cape buffalo, hartebeest and Eland. Picnic lunch and drinks will be served on the way to Dar es salaam. You are expected to be in Dar es salaam at 6:50pm. This will be the end of our two days safari.
